Epyca.org — Digital solutions, apps, innovation

Software built by someone who’s worked the job site.

I build custom apps and AI automations for contractors, restoration companies and field-service teams — because I run field operations myself.

How I work

Four clear steps, no mystery

The process stays close to the people who will use the software, with scope and price agreed in writing before work starts.

01

Walk the workflow

I sit with the people doing the work and trace what happens from the first call to the final invoice.

  • Current workflow
  • Pain points
  • Best first build
02

Shape the solution

I turn the workflow into screens and a clear scope before the build starts, while changes are still easy.

  • Screen direction
  • Data flow
  • Fixed scope & quote
03

Build in the open

You see working software regularly, test it with real jobs, and help steer the details that matter to your team.

  • Working demos
  • Test environment
  • Integration testing
04

Launch & improve

I help your team adopt the system, watch how it performs in daily work, and keep improving it where needed.

  • Team handover
  • Documentation
  • Ongoing support

Things I've built

Working products shaped by job sites, field teams, and the operational details generic software tends to miss.

Bytown Booked

Booking a solo contractor around real travel zones and urgent work.

Customers send photos, AI triages urgency, and the system offers only days the owner is already in their zone. It sends reminders, releases no-shows automatically, and prepares an owner morning brief.

RestoreTrack AI

Knowing where restoration equipment is and what the warehouse needs.

QR sign-in and sign-out connects equipment to job numbers, flags overdue returns, tracks consumable stock with reorder links, and gives each team the right permissions.

Alygn

Keeping a general contractor's field and office work in one place.

A job platform for field documentation and photos, contents inventory, scheduling, time tracking, invoicing, and subscription management.

  • Email automation

Financially Savvy

Turning an inbox full of invoices into clean monthly records.

AI scans Gmail, extracts vendor and tax data, converts currencies to CAD, files PDFs into monthly Drive folders, and flags duplicate charges.

  • Gmail API
  • Google Drive
  • AI extraction

Service Savvy

Capturing local service leads without losing the conversation.

An AI SMS assistant dashboard that responds to incoming leads and lets the business track every conversation in real time.

Internal operations tools

Giving restoration teams practical tools for the work they do every day.

For the restoration company I work at, I've built tools for job tracking, emergency billing packages generated from job reports, production meetings, gross-profit tracking, and field lead capture for business development.

About

Built from the field, not a pitch deck

I know the gap between software that looks good in a demo and software people can actually use on a busy job site.

Neel Patel

Founder, Epyca

Ottawa, Ontario

I’m a Mitigation Manager at a property restoration company in Ottawa. I started building tools because off-the-shelf software did not fit how field teams actually work — between emergency calls, site photos, equipment, paperwork and billing.

Those internal tools became Epyca. Now I build practical apps and AI automations for other contractors, restoration companies and field-service businesses.

eating your week

Describe the process in your own words — messy is fine. If it is not something I can usefully build, I’ll say so.

  1. 1

    I read it personally

Your message comes directly to me — no queue, chatbot or sales team.

  2. 2

    A 30-minute call

I’ll trace the workflow with you and say plainly whether I can help.

  3. 3

    A fixed proposal

Scope, timeline and price are in writing before any work starts.
